Aubade Lingerie is one of France's best-known brands. It is loved by women, and their partners, all over the world. This unique brand is exciting and daring and has been at the forefront of lingerie design since it's beginnings in 1875.

In 1875 Dr Bernard formed a corset-making company, yet it wasn't until the company was taken over by the Pasquier family in 1958 that the Aubade brand name emerged. They marketed the world's first strapless and halter neck bras.

The Tanga brief is the mainstay of all their collections and this is so often the theme of the popular and world famous 'lessons of seduction' photographs. These are sometimes very daring and are very much collectors items.

Manufacture

Each Aubade collection takes months of work, focusing on future trends, searching out the most beautiful materials, colours and print designs. Prototypes are made to allow fitting trials and to hone product features and production techniques. It takes two years to launch, from sketches right the way through to their first appearance in the stores.

Aubade expertise and craftsmanship is sewn into the very fabric of each bra; with fifteen different materials going into making each one. Every stitch is then crafted by an expert seamstress.

The use of first class materials and designers with a natural eye for beauty is a great start. Skilled operatives in their own workshops ensure the highest quality standards are always met.
